This post has been awhile in the making. We wanted to run a list of the Top 10 most Famous Lawyers of all time. The people in our list, for the majority of them found notoriety outwith law but they all studied it at some point in their lives. We have drawn from many mediums to compile our list. 	10: Franz Kafka
	Born in Prague, made famous for his fictional written work such as The Metamorphosis (1915), and novels, including The Trial (1925) and The Castle (1926). His stories centered around troubled individuals in a nightmarishly impersonal and bureaucratic world.
	09: Lionel Hutz
	Lionel Hutz is a fictional character from the animated TV series The Simpsons, he claims to have graduated from Princeton School of Law, although Princeton Law School closed in 1852.
	08: John Knox
	Born in Scotland, in 1510, his claim to fame is as one of the leaders of the Protestant Reformation movement which swept Europe in the sixteenth century.
	07: Robert Louis Stevenson
	Born in Edinburgh, Scotland, 1850, Stevenson had a fondness for woman and wine but also penned great fiction particulary Treasure Island, Kidnapped and Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde.

	Gerald Michael Rivera (born July 4, 1943), known by his television name of Geraldo Rivera or simply Geraldo, is an American television journalist, attorney, and former talk show host. He is known to have an affinity for dramatic, high-profile stories, and issues that are divisive in nature.

	Cherie Blair 23 September 1954, known professionally as Cherie Booth QC, is an English barrister. She is married to Tony Blair, the former British Prime Minister. She specializes in employment, discrimination and public law has represented claimants taking cases against the UK government.

	Abraham Lincoln (February 12, 1809) was the sixteenth President of the United States. He introduced measures that resulted in the abolition of slavery and also defeated the Confederate Army during the American Civil War.

	William Jefferson Clinton (born August 19, 1946), one of the most popular presidents ever. Clinton left office with a 65% approval rating, the highest end-of-presidency rating of any President who came into office after World War II. Heavy womaniser who had a much-publiced affair with Monica Lewinsky.

He was the pioneer of Satyagraha—a philosophy that is largely concerned with truth and ‘resistance to evil through active, non-violent resistance’—which led India to independence and inspired movements for civil rights and freedom across the world. He underwent long (at times over a month) fasts, for both self-purification and protest.
