Top 10 Famous Lawyers

This post has been awhile in the making. We wanted to run a list of the Top 10 most Famous Lawyers of all time. The people in our list, for the majority of them found notoriety outwith law but they all studied it at some point in their lives. We have drawn from many mediums to compile our list. Born in Prague, made famous for his fictional written work such as The Metamorphosis (1915), and novels, including The Trial (1925) and The Castle (1926). His stories centered around troubled individuals in a nightmarishly impersonal and bureaucratic world.

Lionel Hutz is a fictional character from the animated TV series The Simpsons, he claims to have graduated from Princeton School of Law, although Princeton Law School closed in 1852.

Born in Scotland, in 1510, his claim to fame is as one of the leaders of the Protestant Reformation movement which swept Europe in the sixteenth century.

Born in Edinburgh, Scotland, 1850, Stevenson had a fondness for woman and wine but also penned great fiction particulary Treasure Island, Kidnapped and Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde.

He underwent long (at times over a month) fasts, for both self-purification and protest.
