3. Father, son killed in I-20 crash

A 67-year-old Temple man and his 15-year-old son were killed in a wreck Monday on Interstate 20 between Bremen and Temple. Georgia State Patrol Sgt. 1st Class J.K. Boatright said Bernard Brown and his son, Devon, died in the crash around 4:30 p.m. on the eastbound side of I-20 near mile marker 17. 4. 17-year-old dies in McDuffie accident

THOMSON — A 17-year-old boy was killed when the driver of a car lost control and flipped on Rousseau Creek Road in McDuffie County late Saturday. Authorities say alcohol was involved. McDuffie County Deputy Coroner Sammy Purvis identified the victim as Lawrence Lee Harris III, who lived in the Rousseau Creek Road community near Thurmond Lake.
